Developed and launched a new website for St. Paul’s‑in‑the‑Pines Episcopal Church, implementing custom scripts to seamlessly embed an external website (top left screenshot) and an external blog (bottom left) and integrate dynamic content from the church’s existing online presence, while also providing original photography and optimized site architecture.
As Assistant Director of Library Services, I designed and manage the Paul H. Thompson Library website, built on the LibGuides platform. To ensure a cohesive look and feel with the broader Fayetteville Technical Community College brand, I customized the site’s CSS on the backend so that it closely resembles the FTCC main website. In addition to refining the layout and navigation, I embedded dynamic widgets—such as automatically updating hours displays—to enhance usability. The result is a streamlined, branded, and highly functional hub for students, faculty, and community members to access resources, services, and support.
As both a board member and a docent for Mill Prong, a historic home and cultural site in North Carolina, I had the unique opportunity to design and maintain its official website. The site highlights the history of the house, upcoming events, and opportunities for community engagement, while providing an accessible gateway for visitors to learn about the site’s Scottish heritage and preservation efforts. My work on MillProng.org combines thoughtful design with clear navigation, ensuring that both casual visitors and researchers can easily explore the rich story of this landmark.
