College Educator | Librarian | Instructional Technology Specialist
A higher education generalist with over six years of experience in public and academic libraries, a year of college teaching experience, and an emerging educational technology specialist. I'm looking to build my portfolio with contract work in instructional technology and web design. I live and work in the Chattanooga, TN area.
I love learning and facilitating the learning process for others. I am looking for opportunities to use my background in libraries, instructional technology, and/or teaching to make an impact on peoples' lives. I believe in working smarter (not necessarily harder) and looking for non-conventional approaches to solve problems.
I have began to delve into instructional technology and I'm learning the ropes of college level teaching. I have a B.A. in Spanish and Sociology, an MLIS in Library and Information Studies and 24 graduate credit hours in sociology. I have begun a graduate certificate in educational media to round out my preparation. My ideal job would combine my passion for technology in the classroom, the social sciences, and librarianship.
